A Quincy woman was found fit to stand trial Tuesday in Adams County Circuit Court on charges in connection with the drowning death of her son last year.

A fitness exam had been ordered for 37 year old Janifer Doellman in September, after she had been arrested for not showing up for a court hearing.

Doellman is charged with endangering the life of a child, along with an unrelated charge of meth possession.

Doellman’s son, 18 month old Niall Clark drowned in a pool behind the family home at 606 Jackson on July 27th, 2016.

A status hearing for Doellman is set for November 7th.
