Disabled Vehicle Report Leads to the Arrest of a Quincy Man

A Quincy man faces several charges following a disabled vehicle report on Illinois 336 north of Mendon at 5:06 Sunday morning.
Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say the vehicle reportedly crashed on East Collins in Mendon and was reported stolen from the 1100 block of Koch’s Lane a few hours earlier. As deputies arrived… they took 20 year old Daniel French into custody. French is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle… illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor… failure to give information after striking property… failure to report and accident and for having no valid driver’s license. French was taken to the Adams County Jail.
