Detective Anjanette Biswell Receives 2013 Missing Children’s Law Enforcement Award
Detective Anjanette Biswell was nominated and received the 2013 Missing Children’s Law Enforcement Award from the United States Department of Justice due to her investigation and subsequent arrest and prosecution of Gregory Korschot in 2012. Biswell received the award in the Department of Justice Great Hall in Washington, DC on May 15, 2013.
Biswell is a 18 year veteran of the Quincy Police Department currently assigned to Criminal Investigations. During her tenure with the department, she has been a Pro-Act Officer, is a hostage negotiator, field training officer, and member of the honor guard. She is on the Internet Crimes’ Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the Immigration Custom Enforcement (ICE) Task Force.
