We normally think of summer as the season for concerts, but there are several great shows coming up this fall and winter. Sir Elton John is coming to St. Louis in November, Amy Grant will be in Peoria at the end of October, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will do a Christmastime show on December 23 at the Scottrade Center, and closer to us, Denny Laine (former member of Wings and The Moody Blues) will be performing in Hannibal.

Laine was an original member of The Moody Blues, singing their first hit 'Go Now' in 1964, and was a founding member of Wings with Paul McCartney.

The singer/songwriter will perform in Hannibal on Friday, October 25 at the Roland Fine Arts Center at Hannibal-LaGrange University. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Single tickets to the concert are $20 for adults, and $5 for students.

The Denny Laine concert will be presented by the Hannibal Concert Association, which offers season tickets for individuals ($50) and couple/parents,children ($100). Patron memberships, in addition to providing additional sponsorship support, include a specific number of season tickets at various levels. HCA season ticket holders also benefit from free/discounted admission to all performances of the Keokuk Concert Association and Quincy Civic Music Association.

Both season tickets and single admission tickets will be available at the door prior to the Denny Laine concert.
