Defense Starts its Case Today in Lovelace Murder Trial

Prosecutors in the Curtis Lovelace first degree murder trial rested their case Monday.

Jurors heard from pathologist Dr. Michael Baden who stated that a mark on Cory Lovelace’s lip could only have come from pressure on the mouth. The defense stressed that this is Baden’s opinion and not firsthand knowledge. Lovelace's oldest child--Lyndsay Lovelace testified Monday that she doesn't remember talking to police after her mother's death and cant’ say 100 percent that she saw her that morning.
