Deer Causes Crash on US 24 in Adams County

A one vehicle crash on US 24 east of E-1850th at 12:44 Friday morning results in minor injuries for a Rushville woman.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say Glenna Prather swerved in an attempt to avoid a deer in the road. Deputies say her SUV went off the road, hit a guard rail and came to rest on the railroad tracks north of the highway.

Deputies say a juvenile passenger escaped injury.
