(BOWLING GREEN)_-A Curryville man faces a drug charge after a weekend traffic stop in rural Pike County. Sheriff’s deputies reported finding meth and drug paraphernalia in a car that was pulled over for a traffic violation at 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Mount Zion Church Road south of Louisiana.

23-year-old Devin Kirk of Curryville was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A court date had not been set Monday. Bond was set at 25 thousand dollars cash-only.

The sheriff’s office says charges are pending for additional suspects.
