A Curryville man is charged with distributing a controlled substance near schools.  

Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte says 44-year-old Abraham Adams Senior was arrested after a raid last week at his home in the 100 block of Main Street. Authorities said they seized 28 morphine pills and cash. The raid was part of an ongoing investigation by the sheriff’s department and included assistance from the East Central Drug Task Force and the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Bond for Adams is 50 thousand dollars cash-only bond pending a court hearing.
