Hundreds of people gathered at Grandview Church in Quincy Saturday for the funeral of a 12-year-old boy shot to death one week ago. The Quincy Herald Whig reports the starting time for the funeral for Rayshone Humphrey, Jr. had to be pushed back a half hour to allow people time to pay their respects.

As the funeral procession made its way to Quincy’s Greenmount Cemetery, hundreds of supporters lined 12th Street with red balloons.

Quincy police continue to investigate the shooting, but no arrests have been made.
