A Quincy man, his wife and son are indicted by an Adams County Grand Jury for their part in the shooting death of a 12 year old boy.

Bills of indictment were filed Friday against 40 year old Stefan Crider, Jr., 39 year old Julia Crider and 24 year old Stefan Crider III. The three were indicted for conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice.

The Criders were arrested May 10th. They were alleged to have helped 20 year old Steson Crider of Chandler, Arizona, leave the area after a shooting incident in Quincy March 28th. Steson Crider is accused in the shooting death of 12 year old Ray Humphrey, Jr.

Steson was also arrested May 10th in Arizona and charged with first degree murder. He is awaiting extradition back to Illinois.

Authorities believe Humphrey was not the intended target in the shooting, which was the result of an altercation earlier in the evening at a Quincy night club.
