Crash Closes Illinois 96 Early Wednesday Morning
(URSA)—A one car crash on Illinois 96 at Rock Creek at 2:12 Wednesday morning results in minor injuries for an Ursa man.
Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say 24-year-old Joshua Palmer lost control of his car. The car went off the road and down the embankment to Rock Creek. Palmer got out of the vehicle and climbed back to the road where he flagged down a deputy.
Illinois 96 was closed for about an hour to remove the car from the creek. Deputies charged Palmer with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
