Crash Claims Life of Mexico Missouri Woman

A two-vehicle crash injures a Perry man and claims the life of a young Mexico woman. Missouri Highway Patrol troopers say the crash happened at the intersection of Audrain County Route B and Route KK Thursday morning. Twenty-two-year old Rachel Eickelman reportedly turned into the path of an oncoming pickup driven by 53 year old Kenneth Vanboening of Perry.

Both Eickelman and Vanboening were airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia. Vanboening sustained serious injuries. Eickelman was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Funeral services for Rachel Eickelman are at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
