Crash Blocks Traffic on Memorial Bridge at Quincy

(QUINCY)—A two vehicle crash on Quincy’s Memorial Bridge around 9:35 Wednesday evening results in minor injuries for one driver and a passenger.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 30-year-old John Bevis of LaGrange attempted to pass an SUV driven by 49-year-old Sherri Kragel of Quincy.

Troopers say Bevis lost control of his car as he attempted to pass and struck the side of the Kragel vehicle. Kragel and 54 year old Lester Pordesimo of Quincy sustained minor injuries.  Traffic was blocked for about 25 minutes.
