(Quincy) - A Quincy woman and former Adams County Drug Court participant was sentenced Tuesday to eight years in prison for aggravated participation in manufacturing methamphetamine.
32 year old Melinda Cox had pled guilty in March. Authorities say she and 58 year old Michael Vonburg were making meth in a trailer on Worman's Road last October when the trailer caught fire.
There was significant damage done during the fire but no injuries reported. Vonburg has pleaded not guilty to aggravated participation in meth manufacturing and has a May jury trial scheduled.
