A court hearing is Thursday for one of two men allegedly caught on tape stealing items from a Pike County couple who were serving in the military overseas. Ricky Luckett of Mount Sterling, Illinois is charged with felony burglary. He and Michael Luckett of Mexico, Missouri are accused of stealing items from the couple’s rural Louisiana home between January 25 and April 10 of 2011.

The two men were arrested early last year after authorities said a motion-activated camera normally used to capture footage of wildlife recorded the suspects taking items from the residence. Authorities have not said how the men are related. The couple asked that the camera be installed after being told a door was dislodged at the home. Both were serving with the Navy in the Middle East at the time.

Items stolen included a pool table, tool boxes, a dishwasher, a stove and John Deere toys.
Michael Luckett is scheduled for a plea hearing July 23.
