After a windy weekend, the first full week of April looks to be a cool and damp one in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters say the week will start out sunny and breezy Monday, with clouds moving in Tuesday. Highs both days will top out in the mid 50s.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms moves in Tuesday night and Wednesday, with midweek highs in the low 60s expected.

Chances of showers are also in the forecast Thursday, Saturday night and Sunday, with highs staying in the 50s through Saturday, and moving into the upper 60s Sunday.

Lows for the week will range from the low 30s Monday to the upper 40s Tuesday, then back into the 30s through Friday and the mid 40s Saturday.
