Condoleezza Rice to Speak in Rolla
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is speaking next month at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
The May 14 lecture is part of the Remmers Special Artist/Lecturer Series. The speech is planned for the evening, but the exact time wasn't immediately released.
Rice is now a professor at Stanford University. She served as Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009 and was the first African-American woman to hold that position. Before that, Rice served as President George W. Bush's national security adviser.
Her speech is free and open to the public, but tickets will be required. They'll be available for students beginning Monday and for faculty and staff beginning April 8. The general public can get tickets starting on April 13. Tickets are limited to four per person.
