Quincy Police say stepped up seat belt enforcement during May results in issuance of 58 seat belt citations.

The Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign in Quincy ran from May 11 through May 25. Police say the added enforcement also resulted in 11 drug arrests, four DUI arrests and three child safety seat citations. There were also two felony arrests by Quincy Police and one fugitive was taken into custody.

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers in northeast Missouri report 29 citations issued during their Click It or Ticket enforcement operations between May 18 and May 31. Highway Patrol troopers also report issuing 77 other traffic citations and two misdemeanor criminal arrests during the enforcement campaign.
