Clayton Woman Arrested for Financial Exploitation

Quincy Police report another arrest on a charge of financial exploitation of an elderly person.

Officers say they were contacted by a family member of a 92 year old Quincy resident who she believed was financially exploited. An investigation of bank records found that a former family member who acted as a power of attorney had allegedly misused several thousand dollars of the victim’s money. Police say 50 year old Mary Tennis of Clayton was arrested on the charge and released on a notice to appear.
