Tourists and bird lovers will invade Clarksville this weekend for annual Eagle Days festivities.

The Missouri Department of Conservation says Clarksville is one of the best places along the Mississippi River to view the majestic birds. Spotting scopes will be set up in Riverfront Park. Information will be available there and at the Visitors Center on Highway 79 at the north edge of town.

Displays, programs and eagle demonstrations will be held at the Apple Shed on the south side of Clarksville. Many businesses and organizations will be offering tours and food. The Clarksville United Methodist Church is hosting its annual soup luncheon to benefit the stained glass window campaign from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
