Civil Suit Over 9-1-1 Agreement

(MONTICELLO)—A civil lawsuit filed by Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish claims collusion is involved in the decision to have Marion County handle 9-1-1 calls. The suit seeks to void an agreement with Marion County to handle emergency calls within Lewis County.

The suit says some meetings were illegally closed under Missouri Sunshine Law. No hearing date has been set.
