City of Quincy to Work on Tornado Sirens Wednesday

The Quincy Fire Department will be doing scheduled maintenance and testing on the tornado sirens tomorrow (Wednesday). The testing will be done periodically throughout the day. So if you happen to hear the sirens going off in your neighborhood, it will most likely be a test of the system. 

The City of Quincy always conducts a test of the siren system eachTuesday at 10am to determine if any problems exist.  Apparently, there are a few that need some attention which is what today’s tests are all about.
