The Democratic candidate for Missouri Governor was in Palmyra Monday to discuss issues ranging from rural internet access to fixing the state’s highways.

Chris Koster took part in a roundtable discussion at Missouri Rural Electric Coop in Palmyra.

Koster stressed the importance of improving broadband Internet access in rural Missouri, which he said was tied to economic and business development.

Koster also discussed coming up with solutions to the financial shortfall in the state’s transportation fund.

Chris Koster is currently Missouri’s Attorney General, and faces a gubernatorial challenge from Republican Eric Greitens on November 8th.
