Changes Planned in Hannibal Liquor Laws

(HANNIBAL)—Hannibal City Council members hear a first reading of an ordinance intended to strengthen Hannibal’s liquor license law. Current law lists no grounds for denial and no means of suspension. Concilman Barry Louderman says he wants clear definitions and to eliminate gray areas..

Louderman worked with City Manager Jeff LaGarce and Police Chief Lyndell Davis to create a business-friendly law that also allows for greater municipal control.
