A fire that caused major damage to a Hannibal home is believed to have been set. 

According to KHQA News, Hannibal firefighters from all three stations responded to 812 South Arch Street at 1:37 a.m. Saturday morning.  Crews had the fire under control in 20 minutes.  No injuries were reported.

An investigator from the State Fire Marshall’s office has called the fire incendiary in nature.  Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Hannibal Police or Fire Departments, or the Arson Hot Line at 1-800-39-ARSON.
