It was a beautiful day for the third annual Catch Cupid if you Can 5K Fun Run/Walk Saturday in Riverview Park.

More than 200 people participated.

Kendall Compere of Great Falls, Mt., and Rachel Dick of New London were the first male and female finishers.

Beth-Haven won the team competition with 34 employees participating.

Past Kids in Motion participant Alex Meyer served as “cupid” and lead the group of runners and walkers.

The Catch Cupid if you Can Fun Run/Walk was rescheduled due to the snow on the course when it was originally scheduled in February.

Proceeds went to Kids in Motion, which is part of Douglass Community Services.
Kids in Motion is a pre-employment/service learning training program for teens and pre-teens which teaches the value of work and community.

Participants in the KIM program spend time in Riverview Park in the summer, picking up trash, weeding and clearing trails. The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department cosponsored the event.
