Case Against Melina Torres’ Grandmother Continued

The case of a Barry woman charged in connection with the shooting death of her seven-year-old granddaughter was continued in Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday.

49 year old Julie Roberts-Cole faces two counts of obstruction of justice.

Roberts-Cole is alleged to have given investigators false information in connection with the shooting death of Melina Torres at Roberts-Cole’s home near Beverly during a family gathering May 20th.

Roberts-Cole’s preliminary hearing in the case was rescheduled for June 28th.
