Carl Emerson, Jr. Granted Change of Venue

A change of venue is granted in the case of a Hannibal man charged with shooting three people last March.

The first degree assault and armed criminal action case of 20 year old Carl Emerson, Jr. will be moved from Marion to Monroe County.

Emerson is alleged to have shot and wounded 18 year old Angelica Cadwell, 19 year old Phillip Egbert and 17 year old Benjamin Gillum last March 28th.

Emerson’s next court date has not been set. He remains in the Marion County Jail on $300,000 bond.
