LOS ANGELES (AP) - The old adage is a walk is as good as a hit,
and that's particularly true with the bases loaded in the ninth.
A.J. Ellis drove in the game-winner in that fashion yesterday,
lifting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-5 victory over the St. Louis
Cardinals. The two teams are currently leading their respective
divisions. Former Cardinal Adam Kennedy had four hits for the
Dodgers. The Cardinals' Lance Berkman had tied the game with a pinch homer in the top of the ninth.
