So we are down to only 8 teams left in the fight for a World Series title and all eight are in action today starting with the St. Louis Cardinals playing game 3 in Washington against the Nationals. The first pitch is set for 12:07 CT this afternoon. If you are planning on plopping into your EZ chair to watch the game you had best have the Major League Baseball Network as part of your TV package.  It's the only place you will be able to watch the game.  The MLB Network is carried on the Dish Network but is not available through the local cable system so many in the area will not be able to watch the game. There's always radio which I feel is the best medium for a baseball broadcast anyway. So if you are one who will be unable to watch the game today go to KHMO Radio-AM1070 and listen to Mike Shannon and John Rooney with the call of game three.  I always listen to them and watch the TV with the sound down so today's dilemma won't affect me one bit but it will others.

Whether you watch it or listen to it or both, let's hope the Redbirds pull out a win today.  First pitch again is at 12:07 this afternoon (central time) .
