Car Hits Horse Drawn Carriage

A collision involving a car and a horse drawn carriage on Pike County Route M south of US 54 at 7 p.m. Tuesday results in moderate injuries for a young Curryville resident.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 27-year-old Danielle Schlueter of Curryville attempted to pass a horse drawn carriage and struck the rear of a second horse drawn carriage.

The Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Steven Wagler of Curryville was taken to Pike County Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries following the collision.
