Car Crash Claims Life of Quincy Man

(Adams County)—A two car collision at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Quincy proved to be fatal for one of the drivers.

Adams County Deputies say 97 year-old Alex Rodriguez was traveling eastbound on Spring Lake Road in Quincy.  At the North 24^th Street intersection, he pulled into the path of a car driven by 17 year old Marjean Garkie.

Initial reports listed Rodriguez as having suffered moderate injuries.  He passed away Saturday afternoon at Blessing Hospital.

Garkie was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
