Canton Sexual Assault Arrests

(CANTON)—Two LaGrange residents are held on felony sexual assault charges following an incident in Canton early Saturday morning. Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says deputies and Canton Police were called to the Westport Apartments on Missouri 81 at 3:18 a-m Saturday. On arrival,  authorities took 40 year old Montegna Abbey and 29 year old Jamie Spindler of LaGrange into custody. The female victim was located and taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Highway Patrol officers also assisted at the scene. Abbey and Spindler are held on 10 thousand dollars cash only bond.
