The United Way of the Mark Twain Area officially says goodbye to its outgoing Executive Director, and announces a winner for its annual slogan contest this week.

There will be a reception for retiring agency head Lou Lemen Tuesday, May 6 at the United Way office on Highway 61 North from 1-4 p.m. Everyone is invited to wish Lou well on her last official day as Executive Director of the United Way after 22 years.

Then, Wednesday, May 7 is the deadline to submit your idea for a slogan that would be used in the 2014 United Way annual fundraising campaign. The winner gets a $100 gift certificate to a local merchant.
