Burglaries Near Palmyra Under Investigation

Marion County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating three burglary reports taken Tuesday morning. Deputies received information shortly after 5:00 am Tuesday regarding a suspicious vehicle and possible residential burglary on Marion County Road 336 north of Palmyra. Deputies found doors ajar on vehicles parked at the residence. Deputies received a second burglary call around 6:45 am nearby on County Road 343. Numerous items were reported taken from a residence. Additional calls later in the morning found evidence that vehicles and a residence on County Road 343 were entered forcibly. Cameras on site captured images of three individuals in hooded sweatshirts wearing what appear to be masks.
