A Hannibal man set to stand trial for two shootings and a homicide was sentenced to prison Tuesday for parole violation.

According to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton, Timothy Brokes pleaded guilty in 2013 to a marijuana charge. At the time, his prison sentence was suspended pending shock incarceration. He was released on probation in 2014.

Brokes’ probation was revoked Tuesday and he was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Brokes faces trial next year for the murder of Brittany Gauch and the shooting of Aaron Gauch in Marion County, and the shooting of Monroe City Police officer Travis Pugh in Monroe County.
