Broadcast Electronics to be Sold to Italian Company

A Quincy-based broadcast equipment manufacturer is being sold to an Italian company.

Officials with Broadcast Electronics announce that a deal should be complete soon for their acquisition by Italian manufacturer Elenos.

BE specializes in radio transmitters, along with studio and automation products. Elenos also manufacturers FM transmitters.

Reports are that no changes will be made at the Broadcast Electronics facility in Quincy.
