Bowen Man Gets 70 Years in Prison for Sexual Abuse

A Bowen man gets 70 years in prison after pleading guilty in Hancock County Circuit Court Friday.

37 year old Marvin Kirby pleaded guilty to seven counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and was sentenced to ten years in prison for each count, with each term to be served consecutively.

Kirby also got an additional seven years in prison for violating his parole on a previous assault charge.

Kirby is alleged to have had sexual contact with a female minor between the ages of 13 and 17.
