Body Discovered in Hannibal

A body has been discovered in Hannibal. This story is developing.

At 6:20 a.m. Friday morning, officers from the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Lakeside Dr. Officers arrived on scene and searched the adjacent area.

Per a statement from the Hannibal Police Department, a deceased male subject was located in the wooded area a short distance from the vehicle. At this time there are no signs of foul play. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released if appropriate.
