An award-winning singer-songwriter whose music literally spans the generations comes to Hannibal Saturday.

Tom Chapin, brother of the late singer Harry Chapin, has carved out his own musical niche over the years.

Tom is known internationally not only as a folk singer, but also as a composer and performer of songs geared toward children.

There will be two concerts in Parker Theater in the Roland Fine Arts Center at HLGU Saturday – one featuring children’s music at 1 p.m. and a folk music show for everyone at 7:30 p.m.

The event marks the unofficial beginning of the 2019 season for Hannibal’s Bluff City Theater.
