Kids of all ages are invited to come play in the dirt at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center in Hannibal Saturday.

Hannibal Parks and Recreation and Parents as Teachers co-sponsor the second annual "Big Dirt Dig" from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 11.

Parks and Rec will provide a huge pile of dirt for youngsters to play in. HPR's back hoe will also be on hand.

When you come, be sure and bring shovels, buckets, trucks and digging toys. Also, wear clothes that you won't mind getting very dirty.

And, as a bonus, everyone taking part in the Big Dirt Dig gets a free pass to the Hannibal Aquatic Center for Sunday, June 12.

For more information, go to Hannibal Parks and Rec's website.
