A second defendant pleaded guilty Thursday in connection with a drug raid in Monroe County last September.

40 year old Joseph Bias of O’Fallon, Missouri pleaded guilty to possession and distribution of illegal drugs and tampering with evidence.

Earlier, 43 year old Michael Hicken of Mexico, Missouri pleaded guilty to delivery of illegal drugs and endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs.

Hicken was sentenced to 15 years in prison, pending his completion of a long-term treatment program.

Bias is scheduled for sentencing March 1st.

Two other defendants, 42 year old Shannon Smith of Paris and 31 year old Edelina Harrison of Mexico, still await court dates.
