Bergner’s Theft Arrests

(QUINCY)—Two Quincyans face retail theft charges after loss prevention officers at Bergners and Quincy Police investigated a series of thefts over the last month. Quincy Police arrested 52 year old Tamara Carter—a former store employee—and 44 year old Patrick Steward for retail theft over 300 dollars. Investigators say the dollar value of the thefts totals around 16-thousand dollars. Carter and Steward were taken to the Adams County Jail.
