Becky Thatcher Home Renovation Gets Boost

(HANNIBAL)—Work on the Becky Thatcher Home renovation gets a boost from HNB Bank.

Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum Director Cindy Lovell recently received a check from HNB bank president John Zimmer. Renovation on the Becky Thatcher Home started in 2008. Thanks to recent support, the museum plans to re-open the structure in 2013.

New exhibits, a children’s play area, gift shop and outdoor garden are included in the plan.
