Bartz Wins National Fence Painting Contest

(Hannibal) – A Hannibal boy brushed his way to victory in the national fence painting competition at National Tom Sawyer Days Saturday evening. 12 year old  Keaton Bartz edged out 10 year old  Spencer Fuller of Monroe City in the tiebreaker match.  Bartz advanced to the national competition after defeating three other painters in the local contest Friday, beating 11 year olds Tyler Stevenson and David Hjelm and 10 year old Will Dexheimer to advance to the national contest.
