Authorities Searching for LaHarpe Man

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a LaHarpe man wanted on charges in two counties.

According to McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker, 33 year old Michael Donaldson is wanted in connection with recent thefts of tools, antiques, appliances, furniture and motorcycles.

Officially, Donaldson is wanted for attempted burglary, criminal damage of property and criminal trespass in McDonough County, and for burglary and possession of meth in Hancock County.

Donaldson is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, 125 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes, and could be driving a dark blue Ford F-150 truck. Authorities believe he could be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Michael Donaldson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office and ask for detective.
