I have lived and worked in Hannibal most of my life. I graduated from Gem City College in Quincy with an Associates in Business Administration. My main career was working in retail sales management for J.C. Penney and I'm currently working in banking. I would say my extensive background in customer service has been an asset in journalism as well. I am acquainted with a lot of people in the area, including community leaders and public officials. I have worked in the News Department at KHMO since 2007. It is truly the most challenging and interesting job I have ever held. I consider myself a "late bloomer" Baby Boomer...but that's better than never!
