The McLean County Coroner's Office has identified the person killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident as a 26-year-old Bloomington man.

According to WJBC radio, Cory James Olson died about 11:30 Saturday night after the ATV he was riding with another person crashed. The accident happened near Shirley, about 5 miles southwest of Bloomington.

According to an autopsy, Olson died from compressional asphyxia after the ATV came to rest on him.

Authorities say the other person on the ATV was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries and later released.
