Arrest Made in Two Hannibal Convenience Store Robberies
A Hannibal man is in custody in connection with armed robberies at Casey’s at 3827 Route M-M on Decmber 4 and Abels Quik Shop at 2859 James Road on December 24.
Hannibal Police say 21-year-old Adam Morrall was taken into custody Saturday night. A warrant was issued Sunday in Marion County Circuit Court charges Morrall with Robbery in the First Degree. Bond is set at 100-thousand dollars cash only.
Morrall was free on probation following a conviction last year for his role in the armed robbery of the Chelsea Adult Store south of Quincy on March 4 of 2013. Adams County Judge Scott Walden says he handed down the lighter sentence because of Morrall’s age and previous absence of criminal history.
