Arrest Made in Davenport, Iowa Murder of Quincy Man

Police in Davenport, Iowa report the arrest of a Rock Island man in connection with the shooting death of a Quincy man in Davenport on September 2.

Taken into custody Monday was 18-year-old Juwan Attron Johnson. He has been charged with first degree murder and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

Johnson is alleged to have waiting outside a convenience store with a gun for three men to come out. When the three got into a car to leave, Johnson fired at the car, striking and killing 19-year-old Lewis Woodson, Jr. of Quincy.

Johnson is being held without bond in the Scott County, Iowa Jail.
